The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has approves the reopening of Asaba International airport for commercial operation.
Commercial activities of the airport was shot earlier this year as measure to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
However, the approval was conveyed to Delta State government following the last week’s inspection of the airport cited at Asaba, headquarters of Delta State organized by NCAA.
NCAA in it’s letter addressed to the state government said; the international airport had satisfactorily fulfilled the requirement of the Covid-19 restart guidelines and protocols therefore had been granted the authorization to resume normal operation.
In statement signed by the state secretary, Chiedu Ebie, said we thank the management of the NCAA for thier promptness and professionalism.
He further, assures travellers using the Asaba International airport of the continued commitment of the Delta State government to provide modern facilities for effective and efficient operation of the airport.
