The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State, organizing secretary Hon ‘Onoriode Sunday’ earlier today visited Ekrokpe town for the unveiling of the PDP Ward secretariat.
According to report, It was an historical event for the PDP Ward, Ekrapkpamre in a state of oneness, joyfully witnessed the official opening of the Party’s Secretariat in Ekrokpe town in Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
The ceremony which congregated the party’s Elders, Leaders, Youths, and the women fold had the presence of Chief Onoriode Sunday (PDP State Organising Secretary), Chief Michael Oshetigho (PDP Ughelli South Chairman), Dr. Richard Kofi (Ughelli South Executive Chairman ), Chief Matthew Ofioguma (Vice Chairman Ughelli South ).
Furthermore, personalities like Hon Temple Mudi (EA to Governor), Deacon Solomon Ala (SSA Political), Chief Gordons Okomitie (SSA to Governor), Barr Erhinyoja, Chief Emma Djowha, Chief Winiba, Hon Happy Gbeke, Councillor Ekakpamre Ward, Hon Victor Alibor, Comr Vote Onojighode, Comr Dickson Kamarho, Chief Majemite, etc attended the official opening ceremony.
During his welcome address, the Ward Chairman, Mr Apoi Umukoro commended the State Organising Secretary, Chief Onoriode Sunday, Dr Richard Kofi, Mr Michael Oshetigho and other prominent leaders of the party who were out of their busy schedule attended the ceremony.
He as well lauds all those whom out of love for the party, supported the project to ensure its completion.
Among all those who also spoke during the ceremony in like manner encouraged members of the party to remain faithful and steadfast and also always work support the party.
They also urged and encouraged aspirants vying for political positions especially the ward Councillor’s position to see themselves as brothers, adding that out of them all one must emerge.
The highlight of the whole event was the cutting of the ribbon by the State Organising Secretary, Chief Onoriode Sunday on behalf of other leaders present which marks the official opening of the temporary secretariat.
Meanwhile before now, the State Organising Secretary and others while giving their speech noted that they look forward to seeing that the ward acquires its permanent site with party’s structure afterward.
However, in a closing remark, the Vice Chairman of the ward, Mr Obakpororo Ofioguma eulogizes all those who have attended the event with special thanks to Hon Temple Mudi and other leaders of the ward who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
